Held every July for a 10 day period. The Stampede is a celebration of tradition and western spirit! Since 1912 the Stampede has remained the undisputed "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth!" The entire city goes wild and western, with everyone dressing western and whooping it up! Spectators soon become participants as the Stampede spirit seizes your senses and takes you for a ride you won't soon forget.

More than one million people visit Calgary during the Stampede to take part in this unique experience. Early hotel or Bed and Breakfast reservations are strongly recommended.
